Leadership Development in an Era of Aggressive Growth: A Strategic Approach

Problem

To support the aggressive growth strategies, leadership development was an obvious priority. Success and sustainability is impossible without capable leaders to drive initiatives and support high performing teams.

 

Savant’s unique talent acquisition strategies to attract direct hires and acquire firms meant that leadership development strategies had to address the nuances of each group, while maintaining consistent messaging and leadership culture.  

 

Leaders needed to be equipped to lead a rapidly changing environment. 

Solution

Collaborated closely with human resources and executive leaders to employ capable resources and design effective training and resources including tactics such as:

Gaps assessment

Communication planning

Change management tactics (Pro Sci ADKAR)

External and internal resource development

Cohort enrollment process

Pilot, evaluation, and official roll out 

Recommendations for programming design and resources 

Results

From our recommendations, HR contracted with UW - Madison’s CPED program to provide leadership development, personality assessments (MBTI). Through individual and group leadership coaching, a leadership development sub-culture was established.
