Leadership Development in an Era of Aggressive Growth: A Strategic Approach

Introduction

Savant Wealth management had an informal approach to onboarding new employees and acquired firms, which worked for an employee count of under 100.

 

Savant’s 2022 aggressive growth goals demanded innovative strategies to support the company’s mission to acquire smaller firms and attract top talent. Therefore, having an  established process for effective onboarding and integration was critical for sustainability.            

Solution

Collaborated closely with human resources and executive leaders to employ capable resources and design effective training and resources including tactics such as:

  • Change management tactics (Pro Sci ADKAR)

  • Process development

  • Resources development

  • Communication planning

  • Aligned LMS management 

Results

Within 6 months, HR and the M&A leadership team had an engaging process to effectively onboard people and newly acquired teams.

 

The processes and resources proved to excellently introduce new talent to the company’s rich history, culture, and goals in an immersive and standardized way.

 

From feedback, leaders learned that the new processes effectively prepared new hires for their roles and helped to create a strong sense of belonging.
